Once again this year, the Dean of Faculty’s office, in collaboration with a number of different faculty, staff, and student groups across campus will be hosting a series of opportunities to come together to discuss of “Why Liberal Arts?” This year’s theme is “Transforming Education, Transformative Education”, and will touch on various aspects of how the educational landscape has changed (at different levels) over the years, and our roles (as well as our students’) in effecting that change, as well as effecting change in the world beyond Williams. There will be lots of opportunities to engage in conversation with students, faculty, and staff on these topics, and we hope you’ll join us!
