Join the Office of the Dean of the Faculty (DoF), First3, the Office of Institutional Technology (OIT), and the Williams College Libraries for several days of programming to help new and incoming faculty as they transition into life at Williams.
Events include:
- a Welcome Reception featuring President Adam Falk, Dean of Faculty Denise Buell, and Dean of the College Marlene Sandstrom (Monday, August 29th);
- a full introduction to the resources available via the Libraries and OIT (Tuesday, August 30th)
- an orientation designed specifically to introduce new faculty to the various resources, spaces, and cultures available to faculty sponsored by the Office of the DoF (Wednesday, August 31st);
- teaching-focused panels and sessions on “Perspectives on Teaching and Learning” (POTL) and a reception for faculty and partner sponsored by First3 (Thursday, September 1st);
- assistance with creating your syllabi,introductions to various classrooms on campus, and training for how to use Glow (our course management system) with current staff and faculty (various dates).
